This course will review the history of agency disclosure in real estate transactions. We will review exclusive agency, the Exclusive Buyer/Broker agreement, and the methods for disclosing an agency relationship.
With the proper timing and disclosure, the public will be better protected by an informed agent, thus the proper timing of an agency disclosure and the current forms will also be reviewed.
We will review the agency disclosure sections on the AAR Purchase Contract along with the Real Estate Agency Disclosure and Election form and the Limited Dual Consent Form. For the Non-Member MLS Access Forms, similar forms will be reviewed.
