SHERRY RAMPY

I’ve lived in historic homes in Downtown Phoenix for over twenty-five years, also helping people buy and sell their homes for nearly as long. My experience as a realtor intertwines with my involvement in the community. My home (different ones in different stages of restoration) has been on six home tours, I’ve sat on Downtown revitalization committees, written articles for new “mom and pop” shops, and have over twenty-five Phoenix artists represented in my personal art collection. In essence, I’m a Downtown historic geek that loves to promote what I love and I love historic Phoenix!

I currently live in my favorite of the thirty-five historic districts, the Roosevelt Historic District in a 1920 bungalow with a past. Since it’s my favorite neighborhood, I’ve also sold over 75 homes here over the years (many, multiple times, too!). Check out the link if you want to read more:

I am also currently the Chair of the City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Commission.

I was on two teams that were awarded Governor’s State Heritage Preservation Awards in 2017 and 2018 for my consulting work for the Welnick Arcade Market (soon to have State 48 Brewery occupy the space) and The Van Buren Entertainment Venue.

My background is in economics and having restored and renovated several properties, it is important to look at the finances of a historic home. While I make it fun and home is where your heart is, I acknowledge and educate you on the financial side of historic home ownership.

Even if you aren’t interested in buying or selling a historic property, I’m always available to share my faves of all Downtown Phoenix has to offer.
